The snow is pouring here in the Outer Banks! It may be one of the most gorgeous, heavy snows I’ve seen on the beach. Large, fluffy flakes… just beautiful!! But while I am enjoying this amazing view from my warm, snuggly sofa, I am certainly glad to not have to be out in the cold of this beauty. 🙂
I missed our Wedding Wednesday post this week. So, without further delay:
We had the opportunity to work with Cortney and Chris on three different occasions. Meeting Cortney, her mom, her mother-in-law-to-be, and a close friend in Manteo, we captured Cortney’s bridal portraits. Such a beautiful bride, full of energy and personality. We had a blast!
Their Corolla wedding was scheduled in October. It was a calm day on the Outer Banks beaches. The blue, cloud swept sky accented the purple details of Chris and Courtney’s celebration. The day was perfect.
We made it through portraits with the bridal party, then our beautiful bride found herself feeling so poorly that the remainder of the evening was retired early.
A few weeks later, we met Chris and Cortney at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head to spend some time capturing a few few quiet moments between the newlyweds. A little out of the norm, but we all walked away with pretty imagery and many memories.
Thank you, Chris and Cortney, for including us in your wedding day and for giving us the opportunity to make-up for what that silly stomach bug tried to steal from you! 😉
Until Next Time~
